My Interview for PANDORA Jewellery: Women Who Do

I was photographed and interviewed for an amazing project with PANDORA and Canada’s beauty & style leader, The Kit. Today 375,000 copies were released across Canada!!! I still can’t believe this is actually happening… (pinch me please!)

I was so nervous to be on the other side of the camera. Mostly because I’m so used to being in control behind the camera. This time I had no power over what the final product would look like. The photography team was made up of 2 amazing photographers from Lily and Lilac and an assistant. Lily behind the camera, Lilac behind the computer, and an assistant fanning my hair. A pro hair stylist and makeup artist glammed me up and a creative director was there to make sure my hands didn’t do anything weird. Everyone was there to pull off this amazing publication. After the shoot, I was interviewed. The PANDORA ad is supposed to inspire and motivate women across the country. I hope that my story gives someone a little push to pursue their dreams!

The article was released today and I love how the whole thing turned out. Here’s an excerpt from my interview:

“I think that what I do is more than a ‘side-hustle’: It’s my calling. With my words, I’m able to help a client, and with my camera, I’m helping to tell a story. Making sure that people are heard, seen and have a voice—that’s my true job.”

I’ll be celebrating today at PANDORA Jewellery’s DO TALKS with an all female empowerment panel featuring Jessica Mulroney, Janette Ewen and Tracey Moore. DO TALKS is giving all proceeds from the event to Dress for Success. I’m so honored to be a part of something so positive! Special thanks to PANDORA’s team for inviting me.
