Working alongside amazing and talented vendors, like Cindy and Julian from Storybook Productions, is always a pleasure. They helped to make Assana and Darren’s wedding one of the best of 2011. Here is the highlight reel they have shared from this beautiful summer wedding that took place in Mississauga, Ontario. Enjoy!

My wedding season has been unbelievably eventful. Each unique pair has been a blessing, one way or another, and I thank God for bringing them my way. September marks the beginning of a huge transition in my life. One that is particularly stressful and mentally exhausting. I am more than grateful at this point to take a pause from that to share this lovely wedding with you all!

I can still feel the excitement from the occasion which made it really difficult to choose my favorites for this post. Needless to say, it will be an unusually long one! For this reason, I’ll try to keep my remarks short. Let me begin by saying that this Mississauga wedding made labor day weekend unforgettable. Assana and Darren’s nuptials took place at the Erindale United Church where their family and friends filled the sanctuary. From there, we headed to the nearby, Erindale Park, where divine intervention saved us from the predicted thunderstorms! The reception, at Renaissance by the Creek, was extremely moving with a series of really heartfelt speeches. Assana and Darren, you both have hearts of gold! I am so grateful to have met you.

I am once again so happy to have shot this wedding with the assistance of the talented Michael Rousseau. Also, it was a pleasure to work alongside Storybook Productions for the first time! An amazing day made possible by awesome vendors!

I was in love at first sight with Assana’s killer pair of Kate Spades!

All the gorgeous florals were from Darling Flowers and Assana’s lovely dress is a piece from Toronto’s Beckers Bridal.

Assana’s makeup was by Katharyn Humble of the Hair Garden in Ottawa.

The gentlemen looked quite dapper in their tuxes from Tuxedo Junction!

Sweet Nya was so excited about being the flower girl!

Assana, you are absolutely stunning!

There is so much love in these next few…

The reception was beautiful! Decorations by Elegante Decor and the cupcakes were by Desmond & Beatrice Cupcakery.

Mike did a fabulous job capturing Darren and Assana’s entrance! Love this shot.

DJ Kold Fusion and Wayne Warner really got the party started after dinner!

Wishing you two a life of happiness! :)

With lots of love.

I traveled to Windsor last week to shoot with this gorgeous family. Last time I saw them they were two expectant parents, waiting on their baby girl. Now, Khadijah is 11 months old! She’s too sweet and is a huge Beyonce fan! We sang “Who Runs the World” to get her attention. It was adorable!
