This past Mother’s day weekend helped me reflect on the amazing women I know. Being a mother is not an easy task, but this lovely lady is a proud one that’s ALL about her girls.

Sarah’s 2 year old and her 7-week old are her pride and joy. Her devotion is inspirational and it was so amazing to see them in Toronto this week!

Fun times had by all in the Byward Market in downtown Ottawa. Monica is my friend and now Carl is too! They are getting married in Toronto this August, I am one lucky lady. Their love is so real and so fun. It will be amazing to get them in front of the camera this summer! There’ll be no for jackets and lots of sunshine. I can’t wait!

Could be their tiny little feet and hands or the enormous potential their lives have– I haven’t quite figured it out yet. I visited Xavier with the intention of capturing these fleeting moments, before they disappear. Each photo was taken in his room at their home last Sunday. It was a casual morning and his mom and I finally had the chance to catch up after several years. We go way back.. all the way back to high school! It was so lovely to see an old friend as her family grows. Baby Xavier is an amazing gift. At just two weeks old he has an incredibly thoughtful gaze… It’s no surprise that his nickname is “Professor X”! Congratulations again to his mom and dad! You’ve got a beautiful baby boy!
