Great times at the Chateau Laurier.

There is something special about every couple… With Matthew and Stephanie I can’t pinpoint just one. They are so kind and fun-loving, plus they compliment each other perfectly! Their wedding was my first for 2012 and a celebration I won’t soon forget. This post is particularly long because I had so many favorites, it was difficult to choose a few for this post. I think the photos thoroughly speak for themselves, so I’ll keep the talk short! Have a great Monday!

Something about a new baby is so astonishing to me. Could be their tiny little feet and hands or the enormous potential their lives have– I haven’t quite figured it out yet. I visited Xavier with the intention of capturing these fleeting moments, before they disappear. Each photo was taken in his room at their home last Sunday. It was a casual morning and his mom and I finally had the chance to catch up after several years. We go way back.. all the way back to high school! It was so lovely to see an old friend as her family grows. Baby Xavier is an amazing gift. At just two weeks old he has an incredibly thoughtful gaze… It’s no surprise that his nickname is “Professor X”! Congratulations again to his mom and dad! You’ve got a beautiful baby boy!

I am absolutely elated to begin my year with this fabulous couple. Stephanie and Matthew will wed this Saturday, February 25th among family and friends. It will be a momentous occasion and the beginning of so many great things! Here are a few of my favorites from their engagement session last year. Congratulations to you both! See you on your big day.
